It's easy to be a hypocrite. The gleam off of the cursed metal straw blinds many, as they start to believe that a hunk of metal in a plastic case will somehow reverse all environmental damage. Meanwhile, metal straw-ists continue eating with plastic utensils off of plastic plates, and filling plastic shopping bags with more and more clothes that they don't need...clothes that will end up in landfills and whose toxic dye will seep into the Earth.
